Best of 2013

As this year draws to a close I have begun to reflect on all that has happened in the 6 months or so since I started the Stronger Golf blog. I am immensely proud of the content on this site and sharing it with you all (and hopefully improving your golf games) has bought me great joy. So firstly I would  like to say a huge thank you to everybody that has read, followed, liked or shared these posts.

I have put together a list of the best and most popular content on strongergolf.org so far.

Golf is a rotation sport right? You still need more hip extension

This was a pretty ‘sciencey’ post and fairly long too. I didn’t expect many people to find it that interesting if I’m honest, but boy was I wrong! The most popular article to date!

The truth about unstable surface training

Unstable surface training is a divisive issue amongst golf fitness coaches in particular, it is also something a feel strongly about the need to educate golfers and coaches on. It seems you agreed too.

Top 5 reasons you’re not seeing results in the gym.

Is you intensity right? Are you choosing the right exercises? Are you using progressive overload correctly? Find out by giving this a read.

Fix your golf posture in the gym

The first expressly golf related article to make the list. I see a truly shocking number of people walking around or swinging a golf club in bad postural positions. It’s no way to play good golf! Take a look at this article to fix it.

How do long drive champions hit it further than you?

I always knew this would make a popular post. Who doesn’t want to bomb their drives further after all…

Did I just blow your mind? Leave a comment, then share with EVERYBODY!
